Album: EXITECHNO Album by FKA MASH

South African DJ and electronic music producer FKA MASH has officially released his highly anticipated debut album, “EXITECHNO.” Released on September 25, 2026, through September Bloom, the project introduces a new chapter in the Soweto-born artist’s musical journey.

Known for his work across House and Techno, FKA MASH brings together atmospheric electronic production, rhythmic grooves and a diverse group of collaborators on EXITECHNO. The album contains 13 tracks, with appearances from artists including OKAY GOD, Thando Zide, Samuell Miller, KVRVBO, Fatso 98, Tahir Jones, LVN, Dave DK, Biishop and Felix'N.

The title EXITECHNO combines the words “EXIT” and “TECHNO.” In an interview with Deeds Magazine, FKA MASH explained that “EXIT” represents moving away from an old way of living and doing things, while “TECHNO” represents the music accompanying that transition.

The project also reflects an album-making process that came together organically for the producer. After previously abandoning album ideas when they no longer felt right, FKA MASH said EXITECHNO came together unexpectedly, with the album essentially taking shape before he consciously realised he had completed it.
