Album: WpointM Album by Tiakola

French rap and Afro-fusion star Tiakola has officially released his highly anticipated second solo album, WpointM.

Released on September 25, 2026, WpointM is a 17-track project that represents a more personal chapter in Tiakola’s career. The album takes its title from his real name, William Mundala, and explores his journey, success, relationships, roots, and the changes that have come with his rise in French music.

Musically, WpointM moves between French rap, R&B, Afro-pop, and Congolese influences, allowing Tiakola to combine the melodic style that has become his trademark with more reflective and personal songwriting. His connection to his roots is particularly prominent throughout the project, with Congolese group Zaïko Langa Langa appearing on “La vie d’un Homme.”

The album also features a strong international lineup, including Rema on “Best” and Jorja Smith on “Jet Lag,” alongside collaborations with artists such as Niro, Leto, Theodora, Bné, Kuluna, TVLM, Nooche, and Zaïko Langa Langa.

Among the songs featured on the project are “Les misérables,” “Savage,” “Mode de vie,” “Mélo Décalé,” “Bottega,” “Juda,” “Best,” “Cœur De Pirate,” “Sans toi,” “WpointM,” “Vrai OG,” “Caméléon,” “La vie d’un Homme,” “AF1 NOUVO,” and “Jet Lag.”

Before the full album arrived, Tiakola released WpointM - 93120, a six-track surprise EP described as a preface to the album. The project included “Upa Solide,” “Winter Melo Music” featuring Leto, “Wu Tang Clan,” “Allo +33,” “Cléopatre,” and “Seul ennemi.”

With WpointM, Tiakola expands the musical world established by his previous projects while putting greater emphasis on his personal story and Congolese heritage. The result is a project that connects his La Courneuve upbringing with the international sound that has helped make him one of France’s prominent contemporary artists.
